The first time I saw my son drumming, he was about four years old. He had just learned to play the drums and had been playing for a couple of weeks. It was the first time I had seen him actually drumming. It was quite something to see!
I have always liked the sound of drums. I can remember when I was very young, I used to listen to the radio at night and hear the big band sounds. When I was about eight years old, I started playing the drums myself. My dad bought me a small set of drums and I taught myself how to play them. That was when I discovered that I could really get into the music.
In high school, I played in the marching band and I also played in the jazz band. I liked the drums so much that I went to college and studied music. After I graduated from college, I got a job as a music teacher and continued to play the drums.
When my son was born, I decided to buy him a drum set. He has been playing the drums ever since. He plays with a lot of different groups and does a lot of different things. He is a great drummer and I am very proud of him.
