today's podcast discussions. [Hui] Will we be moving
to a conference room? [Shinwon] This is our
conference room. It's kind of a free
discussion atmosphere. [Wooseok] It feels like our
own hangout place. So, we should talk about the
overall concept of this podcast. Did you guys think about
what you'd like for the fan audience to hear
from us? [Hui] I've wanted to do
something like Old Pop ♪ Yesterday~ ♪ – using an actual band? [Hui] Yes, inviting an
actual guitarist. Oh, you're a guitarist. We can sing old pop
or do a spontaneous live acoustic jam session. [Wooseok] Wow that'd be nice. [Hui]
We can receive the fan's stories. And sing them a song
that would be fitting for them. [Hongseok] Yes, spontaneously
matching the concept. [Hui] Exactly, it would be
so much fun. So I would be the singer
and Shinwon can be the 'haha'.
[Shinwon] What… is the 'haha'?
Something you wear? [Hui] No, the funny guy. – It means 'hahaha' as in laughing.
– Oh you mean as the host. [Shinwon] Also, we have Wooseok
as a djembe player. [Wooseok] I guess I play
the djembe now. [Shinwon] I was thinking that since there will be
a lot of episodes we could do episodes as
our separate units. [Hui] Oh units.
[Hongseok] Units sound nice. [Shinwon] We can turn on
an old school hiphop beat. We'll receive the rhyming
lyrics from the fans. Then we'll make
a flow with the beat and we'll create an entire
completed song. Seems like it would be fun. Sounds good. [Shinwon] How about you Kino? [Kino] I'd like to do something
that I can be good at. Maybe consulting or something
to do with communication.
I also agree with what Hui said. If we do something musical we could show the fans more
of our musical side. So I think doing that will
be a great idea as well. [Yeoone] Did anyone else
have some ideas? [Hui] I also want to do
variety entertainment. Entertainment that is positive. It'll bring out
continuous laughter Like this, just laughing
'haha'.
[Kino] Right, the viewers would
become positive as well. [Hui] Just like this, 'haha'. [Wooseok] I'm… a little bit
confused. [Laughter]
[Wooseok] For me… Can you hear me out please? Before I make you,
please hear me out. I have a name for the idea
we want to do. It's called DIY program. DIY is becoming a hot trend. [Shinwon] D I Y?
[Wooseok] Yes. We can even do it as
an ASMR. [sound effects] [Hongseok] what is DIY
short for again? [Wooseok] It's DIY. [Hongseok] Yes, but why is it

out every single day right. So the day it airs will be
that special Z day. How about Hui? He said he
had something in mind. [Hui] Well, this podcast is
hosted by our group PENTAGON, and we're gonna be showing many
different sides of us.
Individually, we are going to be
doing our own different parts. [Wooseok] So what's the name? [Hui] I POD. [Wooseok] Please leave. Why would I POD be
brought up here. [Hui] I have another idea. Through this podcast we need to
bring great entertainment. We gotta blow up, like
really blow up. [Wooseok] So what is it? [Hui] JACK POD. [Kino] JACK POD sounds perfect. JACK POD sounds pretty good. DAY-Z also sounds really good.
But it can get confused
with our title song. DAY-Zeeeeee. It already has the
Z sounding part. But it has the Zeee. [Kino] OK I understand. [Shinwon] OK, let's hear Kino's
thoughts. [Kino] Mine's really simple –
'Dive Into The PENTAGON'. [Hui] That's way too simple. [Shinwon] How about Yuto? [Yuto] Let me say D-easy
and take Wooseok's idea. [Hui] What? That's so random. You've been doing your shows
like this these days. You've been taking the
easy way out. [Shinwon] Hongseok is really
good with things like these. [Hongseok] Through this podcast. [Hui] I'm so excited. [Hongseok] Right? [Hongseok] Through this podcast. Don’t say ‘Kidney’ (Kong-pat)! [Hongseok] This could be a time

It's an opportunity to

actually brilliant. This is the first Korean podcast
that DIVE has ever had. So Delicious Feast might be
the perfect name. OK since we all said

[Hui] Just worried about
the English speakers. It's hard to pronounce.
It'll be romanized. Jin Soo
Sung Chan. That's what I am worried
about. There's not really a word in
English to express that. That is why PODTAI
is so important. Spell it like
POD-TAI. [Hui] JACK POD is
also important then. [Kino] I think JACK POD
is the best fit. [Wooseok] If we use
JACK POD, it feels like we gotta
blow up things. – We don't have to.

[Kino] Hui, the fortune
follows the name. [Wooseok] That's right
let's blow it up. [Yeoone] So we decided the name
to be JACK POD. [Shinwon] There's another
important decision to make. It's the cover art and opening
jingle song for this program. Do we have anyone who is
confident to volunteer? For the covers, we can use
Kino or Wooseok. The concept of JACK POD
would fit Wooseok more. [Kino] For me, drawing is a very
tedious process.
[Wooseok] I'll try to
sketch one up quick. [Shinwon] Wooseok will then
draw the JACK POD cover art. [Hui] I think he'll be good. [Kino] It really fits
Wooseok. [Shinwon] Wooseok will be good
at drawing. Those slot machine with the
number 777. But we'll be 888 because
there's 8 members. Then there will be an effect
of cascading music. There will be fireworks
and a lot of craziness. [Kino] Slot machine with 888
sounds so brilliant, like an actual jackpot. [Wooseok] 888? Nice, give me
more ideas.
[Hui] The shape of
the machine will be a PENTAGON. [Shinwon] Then while Wooseok
is drawing. We'll be discussing about
the jingle. Because this will be the opening
for every single podcast episode. It is just as or more
important than the cover art. It will bring out
PENTAGON's colors. It has to be around
10 seconds long. [Shinwon] Let's do an
acappella with voices stacked. [Hui] I like that. ♪ ah – PENTAGON ♪ JACK POD. [Hui] I like that. [Shinwon] Don't we have
someone that's good at these? Was it Hongseok? [Hui] JACK POD.

energy before we listened. It's like they expect something
and then it's a disappointment. [Shinwon] Please put a

21st Century movie opening.
[Hui] It's gonna be so cool. [Yeoone] I think we grasped
the entire thing. – Wooseok is not finished.
– Let's give him more time. [Wooseok] It roughly
looks like this. There needs to be
more color. [Hui] That looks cool. – What's with that
face expression. [Wooseok] You know those
casino chips? I've made the chip like
a PENTAGON shape. [Shinwon] Then Wooseok
will finalize it later. I've received a test sheet. It's testing our
group chemistry, and it will confirm how
good or bad it is.
[Kino] About who gets
along with who more right? Sounds like fun. [Yeoone] Then we will
get started right away. As the host, I will
divide both sides into three. [Hui] Sounds good. [Shinwon] Which side
wants to go first? [Hui] We can go first. [Kino] It's like a
