(upbeat rock music) Hi my name is Issah Contractor
and I'm here at Drumeo. I have a five minute
practice pad workout that you're gonna love and
it's made for beginners. Now this exercise
is five minutes long and it's really
simple, effective, but it has some stickings that you might not have
encountered before. So I'm gonna start off
by breaking down each bar and then we're gonna
do the workout together for one minute each,
totaling for five minutes. So grab your pads
and let's do this. So number one, right,
left, right, left, right, right, left, left. (sticks drumming) Right, left, right, left,
right, right, left, left. Okay that's number one. Number two, right,
left, right, right, left, left, right, left. Right, left, right, right,
left, left, right, left. Right, left, right, right,
left, left, right, left. Now number three is
right, left, right, left, left, right, left, left.
Right, left, right, left,
left, right, left, left. Right, left, right, left,
left, right, left, left. Number four, right, left, left, right, left, left, right, left. Right, left, left, right,
left, left, right, left. Right, left, left,
right, left, left. And number five, the last one. Right, right, left, right,
right, left, right, left. Right, right, left, right,
right, left, right, left. Right, right, left, right,
right, left, right, left. Alright so let's do this whole
workout, one minute each bar, for a total of five minutes
at 120 beats per minute. Let's do this. One, two, three, four. Right, left, right, left,
right, right, left, left. Right, left, right, left,
right, right, left, left. (sticks drumming) Getting ready to change. In one, two, three, four. Right, left, right, right,
left, left, right, left.
Right, left, right, right,
left, left, right, left. Right, left, right, right,
left, left, right, left. Right, left, right, right,
left, left, right, left. (sticks drumming) Getting ready to change. One, two, three, four. Right, left, right, left,

left, left, right, left. Right, left, left, right,
left, left, right, left. Right, left, left, right,

was a lot of fun. I encourage you to
take that exercise, see if you can push your
tempos, practice it every day, and just get better with that.
