African Drumming

In this article I want to discuss the history of drumming. It has been around for thousands of years and it has many different forms, but I am going to focus on African drumming.

The drum has been used in Africa since ancient times. The drum was used as a means of communication. It was used by the king and his courtiers to announce important events. The drum was also used by the people to communicate with each other.

The drum was made from wood or animal skin. It had a head and a handle. Sometimes the drum was made out of clay. The drum could be used by one person to communicate with others. The drum could also be played by a group of people. In some cases, there were drums that were played by two or more people at once.

There are many types of drums in Africa. They have names like:

• Animal Skin Drum – This type of drum is made out of animal skin. There are two types of these drums:

1) Large Animal Skin Drum – This type is usually made out of elephant skin.

2) Small Animal Skin Drum – This type can be made out of any kind of animal skin.

• Wooden Drum – This type of drum was made out of wood. There are two types of wooden drums:

1) Wooden Drum – This type of drum can be made out of anything that is wood.

2) Metal Drum – This type of drum could be made out of anything metal.

• Hand Drum – This type of drum has a small hand attached to it. It is played by the hands of the player.

• Bell Drum – This type of drum produces a sound when it is hit with a stick.

• Drumstick – This type of drum uses a drumstick to produce the sound.

• Shaker – This type of drum produces sound by shaking.

• Pan – This type of drum produces sounds by hitting it with a stick.

African drumming has evolved over the years. It has changed from being played by one person to being played by a group of people at the same time. The drums are now played by groups of people in the streets and in the villages. They are even used in churches to accompany songs.

In the past, African drumming was used by the king and the courtiers to announce important events in the kingdom. Nowadays, African drumming is used in many different ways. It is used to entertain people, to celebrate special occasions, to express feelings, to warn people about danger, to encourage people, to express joy, to give thanks, to get help, to ask for help, to express love, to make love, to make peace, to make war, to tell the future, to ask for the future, to ask for forgiveness, to give thanks, to ask for forgiveness, and to give thanks.
