Djembe Solo Play Along: Mamady Keïta – Djagbe

the video you saw earlier on was solo footages
from one of Mamady Keïta's workshops back in 2006   in Guinea and at the end of every rhythm or solo
technique that he taught he will always do like a   conclusion where he will mix the different
techniques that he has taught in class   and make it like an improvisational presentation
so as you can see from the video some of the   phrases are not like fixed phrases of how many
times and it's all pure improvisation flowing   out from Mamady's hands so what I want to share
with everybody is to take out some of the nice uh technique and nice drum licks we saw
on the video and organize it in a definite maner   for you to follow along and play along so hope you
enjoy and get some practice out from this video so we have seen the solo techniques that Mamady demonstrated from the 3 previous videos   now let's learn and play along with these three

Djembe Solo Play Along: Mamady Keïta - Djagbe

The video clips in the beginning are footages from one of Mamady Keïta's workshops back in 2006 in Guinea. At the end of every rhythm or solo technique that he taught, he will always conclude with a "mix" of the techniques that he taught in class, and make it like an improvisational presentation.

As you can see from the video, some of the phrases are not like fixed phrases of how many times.
