Djembe & Cajón Lesson – 02. Off-beat patterns in in 4/4 rhythms (1/2)

hello and welcome to come on and djembe non-traditional patterns part 2 today we will be discussing of beats now what are if you count a 4/4 bar you do it by one and two and three and four and the numbers are the beats the ends are the of beats so obits are one two three four you might have noticed that during our previous lesson we created new patterns and variations by removing laughs and strokes the right and kept on going through a homeless today we will try to create new variations by removing right hand strokes making the little more left hand oriented or more of beat now there is a danger in this because the mode of beat a rhythm is the easier it is to use the pause the first pattern goes like this doom doom tuck tuck tuck tuck doom doom tuck tuck tuck drop and faster one and two and three and four good job now let's try another one this one is pure of beats we just play the right hand thanks at the beginning to have a pause but the rest is all B's this is how it looks like now you might have noticed this is difficult at the beginning you may help yourself by playing the right hand over time but on your knee this should help your mind concentrate on the task so why is this useful well you can play a phrase containing two bars one bar is based on beats the second one on Oh beats this gives the phrase a sliding characteristic slide from beats to Oh beats let's try to fully appreciate obvious which is playing with another person this is why I'm using the carbon over here now let's try the same activity but in double time 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 gradual you
